Roy A. Katriel, the firm's founder, is a nationally recognized class action attorney. Mr. Katriel has been appointed lead counsel in numerous class action cases dealing with antitrust, product liablity, or consumer protection law matters. His cases have been featured in the national and international press, and he has appeared as a guest panelist on national media in such outlets as CNN, Fox Business, and CNBC.
Prior to founding The Katriel Law Firm, Mr. Katriel was a litigation associate at Arnold & Porter, a multinational law firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Following that tenure, Mr. Katriel joined a boutique class action litigation firm before opening up his own class action practice. Mr. Katriel's law practice is devoted entirely to class action litigation.
Mr. Katriel graduated First in His Class and Summa Cum Laude from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. He holds undergraduate degrees in Applied Physics and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami and Boston University, respectively. He was the youngest person ever awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Miami, earning that degree at the age of 18. He is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.
